The split-level three-story restaurant can easily accommodate 190 people, with a private dining room in the back for up to 25 people. With its vaulted ceilings, stylish décor, and a constant LED light show behind the bar, Amber India Restaurant is truly a feast for both the mouth as well as the eyes. From its original beginnings in Mountain View, CA in 1994 Amber has grown into one of the most recognized Indian restaurants in the SF Bay Area. Amber India Restaurant has not only been voted as SF Chronicles top 100 restaurants for the last 11 years, but has constantly been rated as one of Zagat Survey's top rated Indian restaurants within the Bay Area. Amber India Restaurant has grown by leaps and bounds, and is pleased to bring its heritage and traditional cuisine to San Francisco.

This is not the Indian food you gerew up with. Just like the US, there are different refions in India with their own specialties. The menu at Amber is Indian cuisine, not just Indian food.
