We founded Blue Sparrow Pilates with the goal of helping you feel strong, healthy, and energized, through targeted mind-body training in an elegant, environmentally friendly studio community. Blue Sparrow Pilates provides a unique, premium fitness experience.

At Blue Sparrow Pilates you will experience Pilates and Gyrotonic with our highly trained, certified professional teachers. Our teachers are certified by the most highly regarded educational methods available, requiring over 800 hours of experience through apprentice teaching, training in anatomy, rehabilitation, and special populations. We offer the experience you need to safely get the results you want.

Our sessions utilize the spring-based Reformer and Springboards, as well as small weights, BOSU stability trainers, balls, resistance bands, and much more. As your fitness evolves and so will our classes, continuing to create new challenges and taking your body to the next level. With incredible teachers and hundreds of challenging and safe exercises, we will encourage you and keep you flying high.

By strengthening your deep abdominal and core muscles, your body will learn to support your spine with less effort. Within the first few weeks of training, you should stand straighter, feel fewer aches and pains, and begin re-sculpting your physique.
Don't get lost in a big class.
We believe that smaller classes will give you the best and most effective workout. We deliver results by limiting our class sizes. We want to know each of students' workout objectives, offer feedback to optimize every exercise, and guide you to the body you want.
Our North Beach location offers Pilates Quartet classes, a maximum of four students, which use the Reformer, Springboards, mat, and small equipment. Pilates Mat Classes, a maximum of ten students, utilize small accessories to increase the intensity of the matwork.
Our Mid-Market location offers Circuit Trios, a maximum of three students, on a variety of Pilates equipment including V2Max Reformer, Stability Chair, and Ladder Barrel.
See and Feel a Difference in Your Body
The average, healthy participant sees and feels results within 10 sessions. Every body is different, and many factors affect the outcome of our Pilates workout. It is best to do Pilates consistently to discover the true essence of Pilates. “In ten sessions,” suggested Joseph Pilates himself, “you will feel the difference; in 20 you will see the difference; and in 30 you will have a whole new body.”

The teachers here are amazing and actually know what they're talking about. Each and every one of them has extensive education and experience actually teaching Pilates, so you know you are getting a top-notch class or session. They even have a donation mat class (which I have never seen before, EVER, and trust me I have been searching for one for Pilates) and a couple community-priced equipment classes during the week as well. They are, simply put, awesome!
