Founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards has been crafting classic Bordeaux varietals from the Napa Valley for nearly 30 years. One of the first wineries to pioneer Merlot as a premium varietal, Duckhorn Vineyards now makes several elegant Merlot and distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings to showcase the characteristics of its various vineyard sites, as well as a full-flavored Sauvignon Blanc.
Duckhorn has the best wines that include pino noir and cabernet blends. When we visit Napa wineries Duckhorn is first on our list. The winery has fantastic views with serene fountains and landscaping. I would highly recommend Duckhorn winery as a must visit destination while in Napa.
