El Mansour, established in 1976, has enjoyed a recent move next door from its original location on Clement Street in the Richmond District. Proprietors Jack and Houda Tanverakul reconstructed their vision of a Moroccan dining quarters with fabrics and textiles shipped from various parts of Morocco. In addition to the materials, the traditional menu has experienced a rebirth with new tagines and kebabs. With the lively entertainment, friendly service, good food and reasonable prices, El Mansour has something for just about everyone.

Hands down the best Middle Eastern Restaurant experience - with belly dancers! Hit the Legion of Honor and enjoy the sunset, then go to El Mansour for dinner... excellent SF day!

Try the Bastela du Chef, or Lamb with Honey & Almonds. VERY good food, fun decor.
