I (Chris Schmauch) started GoodEye Photography + Design ten years ago - when it was simply a name for how people described me to others. It was appropriate for all that I did - with graphic design, layouts, web design and all things photography. Design and photography are closely linked - a good designer can often make a great photography - but definitely not necessarily the other way around. I got my degree in Graphic Design from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, so I have a very strong foundation in the creative arts that have literally fueled my passion for design and photography. I helped start a magazine in the Bay Area, which exposed me to all kinds of photography for stories and clients. Ten years later I have an insanely robust portfolio equaled by no one - at least that have only been in business for ten years! My experience with so many types of photography and people have left me with the equivalent experience many can only hope to accomplish in an entire lifetime.
The bottom line is whatever you want or need visually - I am the right guy to make it look good.
