My background in the editorial style of photography gives my wedding photojournalism a particular edge. I love telling a story with images. I love telling the story of a wedding day. My background in editorial photography helps with my candid approach. I never interrupt a moment, I never set anything up for a photo, I just let the day unfold and capture every moment that I can. This makes for some heavily emotional photography. As I edit a wedding, I'm struck by how often I'm moved to an almost tearful state. The photographs are really a wonderful gift to be able to give to a couple as the only other take-away from the day besides their marriage. I try to get a feel for what would be most appropriate for your wedding photography through my meetings with you, the style of the venue, and the feel of the day.
