Award winning photographer Melissa Mermin has been artfully photographing upscale weddings and celebrations around the globe since 1995. She believes subjects look best when they are unaware of the camera's presence and withdraws into the background to capture people looking natural and having fun. She limits herself to 15 weddings a year to full attention to each of her clients for post-wedding services such as custom designed albums, prints and website. From the rehearsal dinner to the bon voyage brunch, she often documents the wedding festivities over several days, and then puts together a custom designed 'LoveStory' online of the nuptials. Her work and interview has been featured in the upcoming book "Wedding Photographers Unveiled: Inspiration and Insight from Top 20 Photographers" (2009)
She splits her time between the bay area and Boston, and enjoys traveling to destination hot spots everywhere in between.
