It's been very challenging for me as a native New Yorker to find pizza in San Jose that measures up to the east coast quality on which I was raised. A Slice Of NY is the only place I will spend my money on pizza here locally. Thin crust, sauce that doesn't assault your taste buds with obnoxiously sweet or herb-overdosed flavor, solid array of toppings, and easy to eat folded in one hand like it's meant to be. Yes, it's on the pricier side for pizza, but in my opinion, worth the cost. Sicilian style is a bit heavier than I'm used to, but still enjoyable. Garlic twist rolls are lovely even the next day and after having been refrigerated and then reheated in a toaster oven. This pizza passes my test of still being edible and yummy cold the next day. Kudos to this successful business and here's to many more years of happy customers and consistent product.
