my gown was sold on 02.24.12! i received a call from melissa, who was just as excited as i was, to share that a bride-to-be purchased my gown. it gave me chills hearing the story about the moment that she put the gown on, and how she looked in it. apparently, my gown fit her like a glove, and no alterations are needed. sharing the love of my gown with another deserving bride is one of the best decisions i've ever made. if you're even considering it... do it. you won't regret it.
although others would beg to differ, putting my gown up for consignment was a no-brainer. really... when would i wear my gown again? i was gifted with timeless photos of my gown, and i will always have the memories of wearing my gown on our wedding day. why not recoup some of the money spent? this is where melissa and bridal project enter the picture.
i had every intention of meeting with melissa earlier this month but... life happened. melissa was flexible, understanding and so accommodating considering my need to reschedule our appointment two times. the process was quicker that i thought it would be, and very straight-forward. seeing my gown in all its glory, talking about our wedding day with melissa, brought me a deep sense of peace regarding my decision.
melissa is everything that i thought she would be... thoughtful, kind, and really easy to talk to and connect with. i am very confident that she will be able to find a bride who loves my gown as much as i do.
